Prayer Descriptions

ARISE, THE PHOENIX
Level: Pri Inc 3
Target: One creature, dead for less than one round
Duration: Instantaneous
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You catch the soul of a deceased creature and return it to its body, which you reinvigorate with divine power. If the target has been dead for less than one round, they are restored to life, with 1d6 + your Wisdom modifier hit points.
Intensify (Normal): For every +1 modifier applied to the DC, the creature returns to life with an additional 1d6 hit points.
Intensify (Normal): For every +6 modifier applied to the DC, you can revive a creature that has been dead up to an additional round.
 
Reverse: You snuff out the lifeforce of a creature on death's door. You can target a single creature that is dying (below 0 hit points), and instantly slay them.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +8 modifier applied to the DC, the maximum hit points of a creature you can affect with this prayer increases by your Wisdom modifier (Example: If you intensify this prayer three times, and you have a +3 Wisdom modifier, you can affect a creature whose hit points are at 9 or lower).

 

BEND THE FABRIC
Level: Pri Inc 2 (Tethys)
Area: Two 5-ft squares (S)
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: No
 
Normal: You cause space to fold in on itself. You designate a number of 5-foot squares up to your petitioner level. These squares need not be contiguous. Once you have chosen your target squares, you fold space in such a way as to temporarily remove the chosen squares from the space-time continuum for 1 round/level.
Creatures that were in these squares are shunted to the nearest "existing" square. For game purposes, movement through these squares requires 0 squares of movement (however, creatures cannot end their movement in a "non-existing" square - they must move to an "existing" square before taking any other action, or ending their turn); spell ranges and ranged attacks do not count these squares against their range increments; and area-of-effect effects do not count these squares against their area.
Intensify (Normal): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
Intensify (Normal): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, you can affect an additional 5-ft square.
 
Reverse: Please refer to expand space. You are treated as a 7th-level chronist for purposes of determining the additional area you can create.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +7 modifier applied to the DC, you can create additional area as per the next higher category (as per the explanation in expand space).

 

BREACH THE METAPHYSIC
Level: Pri Inc 1
Effect: One divinomental
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: No
 
Normal: You summon a small divinomental. The creature follows your simple instructions.
When you use this prayer, there is a base 15% chance that within 1d4+1 rounds a geomental will materialize that is hostile to the divinomental and to you; this chance is modified based on your surroundings and the presence of Divine- and Nature-aligned creatures. Such a geomental is the same size as the divinomental that is summoned by this prayer.
Intensify (Normal): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
Intensify (Normal): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, the size of the summoned divinomental increases, up to elder.
 
Reverse: You or a chosen creature gain resistance to Divine-aligned creatures. The target gains a +2 deflection bonus to AC, a +2 resistance bonus on saves, and DI 8. Both these bonuses apply against attacks made or effects created by Divine-aligned creatures.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, the AC and saving throw bonuses increase by 1, and the DI increases by 2.

 

DAM THE RIVER
Level: Pri Inc 6 (Tethys)
Area: 30 ft radius emanation, centered on you
Duration: 5 rounds; see text
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You create an area of distorted time, massively slowing down the timeline of the area around you, and all creatures within it. For the duration, five rounds pass inside for each round outside the area.
When you use this prayer, it creates an area focused on you, but does not move with you. If you would leave the area, the effect immediately ends.
Vision and hearing across the boundary of the area is affected, such that creatures inside will appear to be moving faster or slower to those outside, and vice-versa. Force effects cannot pass through the boundary of the area (though they can be used inside, as normal). Attacks across the boundary are impossible, due to the time difference.
Creatures that resist this effect due to Force resistance function at normal time while within the area. They suffer a -10 circumstance bonus to all attacks against creatures within the area, and their Force effects can pass through the boundary of the area without penalty.
Intensify (Normal): For every +12 modifier applied to the DC, increase the effect's duration by 1 round.
 
Reverse: You can create an area of incredibly slow time, such that those within the area experience time's passage significantly slower than outside it. For the duration, one round passes inside the area for every five rounds outside it.
When you use this prayer, it creates an area focused on you, but does not move with you. If you would leave the area, the effect immediately ends.

DISTORT THE FLOW
Level: Pri Inc 1 (Tethys)
Target: One creature
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You slightly speed up the rate of a creature's personal timeline. Each turn, on that creature's turn, their initiative increases by 1.
Intensify (Normal): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
Intensify (Normal): For every +6 modifier applied to the DC, the creature's initiative improves by an additional point each round.
 
Reverse: You slightly decrease the rate of passage of a creature's timeline, gradually slowing them down. Each turn, on that creature's turn, their initiative decreases by 1.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +7 modifier applied to the DC, the creature's initiative decreases by an additional point each round.

 

EXCHANGE THE BODIES
Level: Pal Inc 2
Target: One ally
Duration: Instantaneous
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You exchange the location of your target and yourself.
 
Reverse: You root yourself to your location, ignoring any effect that would force you to move for 5 rounds. You may still choose to move under your own power.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, extend the duration of this prayer by 1 round.

 

GUARD THE SOUL
Level: Pri Inc 5
Target: One creature
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You ward the soul of the target creature, granting it the reraise status (A creature with the reraise status, if killed, returns to life on its next turn with hit points equal to its hit dice). Creatures without a soul or with the namelessness quality are immune to this effect.
Intensify (Normal): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration of the reraise status by 1 round.
Intensify (Normal): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, the creature returns to life with additional hit points equal to your petitioner level.
 
Reverse: You utilize the power of the Metaphysic to recall the target's soul, granting it the death sentence status ailment with a duration of 10 rounds (A creature with the death sentence status ailment immediately dies when the effect's duration ends. Avoidance effects are ineffective against the end of the duration of this effect). If the target has resistance or weakness to [death] effects, their bonus or penalty to saving throws is applied to the duration of the status ailment when it is applied, to a minimum of 1 round. Creatures without a soul or with the namelessness quality are immune to this effect.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +15 modifier applied to the DC, decrease the duration of the death sentence status by 1 round.

 

HAND OF FREEDOM
Level: Pal Utt 2
Target: One creature
Duration: Instantaneous / 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You remove one effect from the creature that is reducing its movement speed, such as slow, immobilized, or decelerate.
Intensify (Normal): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, you can remove one additional effect.
 
Reverse: You ensnare a creature, slowing them. Reduce all of the target's movement speeds by 5 feet.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, increase the movement penalty by 5 feet. If you reduce one of the creature's movement speeds to 0 feet, it becomes immobilized for the duration.

 

HAND OF LIGHT
Level: Pal Utt 2
Target: One creature
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: When the target makes a physical attack (melee, ranged, or firearm), that attack deals an additional +1d6 holy damage.
Intensify (Normal): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, the damage increases by +1d6.
Intensify (Normal): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.
 
Reverse: You grant the target holy vulnerability 10. If the creature normally has holy resist, reduce that resistance by the amount of vulnerability you would grant; if the target has less resist than you would grant vulnerability, they gain holy vulnerability equal to the remainder.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, increase the vulnerability by 2.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.

 

HAND OF PROTECTION
Level: Pal Utt 3
Target: One creature
Duration: 1 round / Instantaneous
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: The target is immune to physical attacks. However, for the duration, they can take no offensive actions.
Intensify (Normal): For every +10 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.
 
Reverse: The target becomes particularly vulnerable to attacks. The next physical attack against the target automatically hits and is an automatic critical hit.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +12 modifier applied to the DC, an additional attack automatically hits and is considered an automatic critical.

 

HAND OF PURITY
Level: Pal Utt 1
Target: One creature
Duration: Instantaneous / 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You remove all ongoing damage effects from the target, such as bleeds, as well as ongoing damage caused by Force effects. If you attempt to remove ongoing damage caused by a Force effect, you must succeed on a petitioner level check against DC 11 + Force-user level of the effect's origin.
 
Reverse: The target becomes particularly susceptible to ongoing damage. For the duration, whenever the target takes damage from an ongoing damage effect, increase the damage dealt by 2.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, increase the additional damage by +1.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.

 

HAND OF SACRIFICE
Level: Pal Utt 3
Target: One creature
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You tether your soul to the target. Whenever the target takes damage, the target only takes half the damage, and you take the remaining half.
Intensify (Normal): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.
Intensify (Normal): For every +8 modifier applied to the DC, increase the percentage of the damage you take for the target by 10%.
 
Reverse: Whenever the target deals damage to you, they take half that much damage.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +6 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +10 modifier applied to the DC, increase the percentage of the damage the target takes by 10%.

 

HAND OF SALVATION
Level: Pal Utt 1
Target: One creature
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: Creatures attempting to attack the target take a -4 circumstance penalty to their attack rolls.
Intensify (Normal): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, increase the penalty by -2.
Intensify (Normal): For every +7 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.
 
Reverse: You taunt the target, giving them a -4 circumstance penalty to attack creatures other than you.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, increase the penalty by -2.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +8 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.

 

INVOKE THE HOLY
Level: Pri Inc 6
Area: 20 ft radius burst
Duration: Instantaneous
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You call upon the Divine to smite the wicked, and call down holy light from the heavens. All creatures in the area take 5d6 holy damage. A successful Will save (DC 16 + your Wisdom modifier) halves this damage.
Intensify (Normal): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, you deal an additional 1d6 holy damage.
Intensify (Normal): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, you increase the saving throw DC by 1.
 
Reverse: You call upon the Divine to purge the righteous, and call forth unholy darkness from the heavens. All creatures in the area take 5d6 shadow damage. A successful Will save (DC 16 + your Wisdom modifier) halves this damage.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, you deal an additional 1d6 shadow damage.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, you increase the saving throw DC by 1.

 

LEARN THE SOUL
Level: Pri Inc 1
Target: One creature
Duration: Instantaneous
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You learn information about the target. The amount of information you learn is dependent upon your Truespeak check for using this prayer.
17 - 20: You learn the target's current hit points.
21 - 24: You learn the target's creature type and subtypes, if any, as well as its hit dice.
25 - 28: You learn any and all energy resistances and weaknesses of the target, if any.
 
Reverse: You make the target's vital information inscrutable. Any attempts to learn vital information about the creature through a Force ability force the user of that ability to make a Force-user check against DC 11 + your petitioner level, or else the ability fails.

 

PHRASE OF DISORIENTATION
Level: Pri Utt 2 (Tethys)
Target: One creature
Duration: Instantaneous
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You disrupt a creature's perception of the world drastically, forcing them to reroll their initiative and be considered flat-footed until their next turn.
 
Reverse: You grant the target supernatural clarity regarding the world around them, allowing them to refocus (When you refocus, you recalculate your initiative as though you had rolled a 20, rather than what you rolled, and go on the new initiative count.)

 

PHRASE OF REGENERATION
Level: Pri Utt 1
Target: One creature
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: The creature gains fast healing 1d6 + your petitioner level (max +0) for the duration.
Intensify (Normal): For every +1 modifier applied to the DC, you increase the max petitioner level applied to the healing by +5.
Intensify (Normal): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, the fast healing granted by this prayer improves by 1d6.
Intensify (Normal): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, you apply your Wisdom (or Faith, if used) modifier to the healing done. This effect stacks.
Intensify (Normal): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this prayer increases by 1 round.
 
Reverse: The creature gains decay 1d4 for the duration.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, the decay caused by this prayer increases by 1d4.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, you apply your Wisdom (or Faith, if used) modifier to the damage done. This effect stacks.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this prayer increases by 1 round.

 

PHRASE OF RESTORATION
Level: Pri Inc 3
Target: One creature
Duration: Instantaneous
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You restore a creature completely to full health, as though through restoration. Doing so is incredibly taxing on the target, however, and requires the expenditure of a healing surge on the part of the target; if the target has no healing surges remaining, this phrase has no effect.
 
Reverse: You cause the target to suffer maladies of all sorts, severely compromising their physical health. The target suffers the effects of poison.

 

PHRASE OF TRINITY CONTRACTION
Level: Pri Utt 5
Target: One creature
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You invoke the Metaphysic to provide protection against a particular Force. The creature gains Force Resistance 12 to a Force of your choice.
Intensify (Normal): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, this effect lasts an additional round.
Intensify (Normal): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, increase the Force Resistance by +1.
 
Reverse: The target's Force abilities become invigorated. The next Force effect the creature uses is affected as those by an Empower Spell feat.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, this effect lasts an additional round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +8 modifier applied to the DC, you can apply an additional Meta feat to their next Force effect. You can use this ability to apply Meta feats of one Force to another.

 

QUESTION THE KEEPER
Level: Pri Inc 3
Target: Personal
Duration: 5 rounds
 
Normal: You spiritually reach out into the worlds between yours and the Metaphysic and seek out an agent of your Patron to answer questions. A single use of this prayer allows you to ask one question.
When you use this version of this prayer, there is a base 20% chance that within 1d4+1 rounds a geomental will materialize that is hostile to you; this chance is modified based on your surroundings and the presence of Divine- and Nature-aligned creatures.
Intensify (Normal): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, you may ask an additional question.
 
Reverse: You guard your mind, gaining a +4 sacred bonus to saving throws made to resist mental contact or control.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, increase the saving throw bonus by +2.

 

RECITATION OF THE BROKEN FORCE
Level: Pri Rec 5
 
Normal: You gain Force Resistance 18 to the Force of your choice. The difficulty of Intensifying this effect varies with the Force Resistance you grant yourself.
Intensify: For every +1 modifier applied to the DC, improve the Divine Inhibition by +1.
Intensify: For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, improve the Nature Inhibition or Void Inhibition by +1.
Intensify: For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, improve the Force Resistance by +1.
Intensify: For every +6 modifier applied to the DC, gain Force Resistance to another Force of your choice. Intensify effects used in conjunction with this Intensify only affect one of your resistances gained at a time.

 

RECITATION OF TETHYS
Level: Pri Rec 6 (Tethys)
 
Normal: The spiritual power of Tethys flows through you, granting you unparalleled access to the powers of time - for a priest. While this recitation is active, you gain the abilities of the recitation of the keeper of precepts, and the following additional abilities. Note that all abilities you gain through this recitation are both Divine and Time aligned, and can be resisted by entities that can resist either. If an effect allows a save, the saving throw DC is 16 + your Wisdom modifier.
# You become Time-aligned, and thus you gain UO and CO equal to 5 + your priest level, as though they were class-based resistances. This means they overlap, do not stack with, UO or CO gained from other class, racial, or template sources.
# When in combat, your initiative improves on each of your turns by 1 + your Wisdom modifier (this overrides the bonus granted by the recitation of the keeper of precepts).
# You can expend a channel divine to gain the benefits of one of the following effects: chrono break (duration: 1 round/petitioner level), or quick. The action required is as per the jikuu being emulated.
# You gain access to the daily abilities of a half-angel of time, as a creature with HD equal to your petitioner level. Using this recitation multiple times in a single day pulls from the same abilities (thus if you use an ability, then in a later combat, use this recitation again, you cannot use that same ability). If you already have that template, your uses of these abilities stack. You also gain the following abilities, each usable once per day: borrow time, quicken, and synchronize. (Note that, because these abilities are granted in addition to the abilities granted normally to a half-angel of Time, they use the same mechanics as those abilities, such as setting saving throw DCs and similar.)
# You can set a tracer as a move action. You are still restricted to one tracer active at a time. Use your petitioner level as your chronist level for determining the duration of your tracer.
# You gain an additional swift action on each of your turns. You can turn three swift actions into a move action.
Intensify: For every +16 modifier applied to the DC, you gain an additional swift action on each of your turns.

 

RECITATION OF THE KEEPER OF PRECEPTS
Level: Pri Rec 1 (Tethys)
 
Normal: You take on aspects of Zodiark, the Keeper of Precepts, the angel crafted from the largest shard of Tethys' divine essence after the deity's death. While you vocalize this recitation, you gain a number of benefits.
# You gain the ability to, as a free action, immediately know the current local time and your time-error, accurate to the second.
# When in combat, your initiative improves on each of your turns by 1, and you cannot be caught flat-footed.
# You are not restricted in the number of Force abilities you can use each round (so long as you have actions, you can use Force abilities).
# You can, with a touch, use the bestow time and steal time jikuu on willing creatures. These effects are considered both prayers and jikuu for purposes of Force alignment, and DI and TO.
Intensify: For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, your initiative improves by an additional point on each of your turns.

 

RENEW THE TRINITY
Level: Pri Inc 5
Target: One Force effect / One creature
Duration: 5 rounds / Instantaneous
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You call upon the Divine's ability to modify the world on a whim, returning a dismissed or ended effect to the world. You can affect any single Force effect that was ended, either naturally by duration or by an outside effect, since your last turn. The effect lasts for an additional 5 rounds, and cannot be subject to this prayer again - nothing short of a rewrite the world can prolong the effect beyond that.
Intensify (Normal): For every +15 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
 
Reverse: You bring the full fury of the Divine down upon a creature, cancelling, nullifying, and otherwise dispelling any and all Force effects on their person. The base DC for Divine effects is an 11, for Nature and Void effects is a 16, and for any other Force a 21. Treat this otherwise as a dispel magic effect.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, gain a +1 bonus to the petitioner level check to dispel effects.

 

SYLLABLE OF AERO
Level: Pri Utt 3
Target: One creature
Duration: Instantaneous / 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: The target takes 2d6 wind damage, and is pushed 5 feet away from your position.
Intensify (Normal): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, increase the damage by +1d6.
Intensify (Normal): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, increase the push distance by 5 feet.
 
Reverse: The target gains wind resist 5, and is considered "especially stable" for checks that interact with that quality (such as bull rushing or tripping).
Intensify (Reverse): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, increase the energy resist by 5.

 

SYLLABLE OF ALACRITY
Level: Pri Utt 1 (Tethys)
Target: One creature
Duration: 1 round

Normal: The creature gains haste for 1 round.
Intensify (Normal): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
 
Reverse: The creature gains slow for 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.

 

SYLLABLE OF ASTRA
Level: Pri Utt 1
Target: One creature
Duration: 5 rounds or until discharged
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: The creature gains a +1 bonus to the next saving throw made against an effect that would cause a status ailment.
Intensify (Normal): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
Intensify (Normal): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, the saving throw bonus increases by +1.
 
Reverse: The creature suffers a -1 penalty to the next saving throw made against an effect that would cause a status ailment.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, the duration of this effect is increased by 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, the saving throw penalty increases by 1.
 
Note: A "status ailment" is any condition that can be removed by the heal spell.

 

SYLLABLE OF ESUNA
Level: Pri Utt 3
Target: One willing creature
Duration: Instantaneous / 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You attempt to remove a status effect from a creature. If the status effect was caused by a Force effect, you must make a petitioner level check opposed by a Force-user level check made by the status effect's origin; otherwise, you automatically remove the status effect.
Intensify (Normal): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, you can relieve 2 points of ability damage to a single ability.
Intensify (Normal): For every +6 modifier applied to the DC, you can remove another status effect.
 
Reverse: You use the will of the Divine to enforce status effects on a creature. Any attempts to remove status effects from the target suffer a penalty to the Force-user level check to do so equal to one-half your petitioner level, rounded down.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, increase the duration by 1 round.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +3 modifier applied to the DC, increase the penalty by 1.

 

SYLLABLE OF HOPE
Level: Pri Utt 1
Target: One creature
Duration: 5 rounds
Divine Inhibition: Yes
 
Normal: You fill a creature with hope, granting him or her a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.

Intensify (Normal): For every +6 modifier applied to the DC, increase the penalty levied by 1.
 
Reverse: You temporarily invigorate a creature's connection to the Metaphysic, improving their ability to call upon the Divine. The target gains a +1 bonus to their petitioner level.

When you use prayer in a way that is beneficial to Divine-aligned creatures or hostile to Nature-aligned creatures, there is a 10% chance per point of bonus granted or point of Stress caused that within 1d4+1 rounds a geomental will materialize that is hostile to you; this chance is modified based on your surroundings and the presence of Divine- and Nature-aligned creatures.
 
Normal: You inhibit a creature's ability to access its Force. Against a creature that is not a Force-user, this prayer has no effect. Otherwise, the creature suffers some debilitating effect regarding its ability to use its Force. You do not need to know which particular Force a creature has access to, or even if they are a Force-user: this effect works regardless of your knowledge.
Magic: A caster loses 1d6 MP. (If the caster uses at-will spell-like effects, they lose access to one of their highest grade abilities, determined randomly.) Intensify: Increase the MP loss by 1d6.
Psionics: A manifester loses 1d4+1 PP. Intensify: Increase the PP loss by 1d4+1.
Technology: All devices a student currently has readied lose 1d4 charges and accrue 1d10% malfunction rate for each charge lost in this manner. Intensify: Increase the charge loss by +1.
Divine: A petitioner suffers a -2 penalty to all Truespeech checks for 24 hours. Intensify: Increase the penalty by -1.
Nature: A geomancer accrues 1d4 Stress towards all suites. Intensify: Increase the Stress by +1.
Void: A nihilist gains 2d6 void debt. This does not trigger new entropic shards. Intensify: Increase the void debt acquisition by 2d6.
Time: A chronist loses 1d8 universal JP and 1d4 personal JP. Intensify: Increase universal loss by +2, and personal loss by +1.

Intensify (Normal): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, intensify this effect. Intensifying it causes different effects based upon the type of Force the target can access.
Intensify (Normal): For every +8 modifier applied to the DC, decrease the target's effective Force-user level by -1. This part of the effect lasts only 5 rounds.
 
Reverse: You temporarily invigorate a creature's ability to access its Force. This effect lasts for 5 rounds, unlike the normal version of this prayer which is instantaneous. The precise effect of this prayer is dependent upon the target's Force access. These bonuses do not stack - if you grant temporary abilities with this prayer, and the target already has temporary bonuses granted by it, they overlap and do not stack, with the greater of the bonuses being the one now in effect.
Magic: A caster gains 1d6 temporary MP. Intensify: Increase the temporary MP by +2.
Psionics: A manifester gains 1d3 temporary PP and gets a +2 bonus to his Manifestation checks. Intensify: Increase the temporary PP by +1 and the manifestation bonus by +1.

Normal: You cause a creature to be unable to utter even a single sound. The creature gains the mute status, which prohibits them from using any language-dependent abilities, abilities dependent upon communication, spellcasting, vocalizations, and any other effect that would require them to speak.
Intensify (Normal): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, this effect lasts an additional round.
 
Reverse: You intensify a creature's voice, strengthening them against effects that would otherwise silence them. The creature gains a +8 bonus on all saving throws against effects that would cause the mute status or similar such effects.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +1 modifier applied to the DC, the saving throw bonus increases by +1.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +2 modifier applied to the DC, this effect lasts an additional round.

 

WORD OF STASIS

Normal: You bring a creature's personal timeline to a screeching halt, though it remains tethered to the world timeline: it gains the stop status. A creature with the stop status can take no actions and durations of effects on it do not decrement. It is not, however, immune to effects outside it (thus a stopped creature within the radius of a fireball would still take damage). The creature is considered flat-footed and has an effective Dexterity score of 0 for the duration of the status.
A creature who gains the stop status through this prayer can make a Will save on its turn (DC 16 + your Wisdom modifier) to end the effect. If it succeeds, it is slowed for the remaining duration.
Intensify (Normal): For every +8 modifier applied to the DC, this effect lasts an additional round.
 
Reverse: You heal the target's timeline, casting off effects that hinder it. The creature loses the stop, slow, and lag statuses, and for the duration, gains an insight bonus equal to your Wisdom modifier against effects that would interfere with its timeline (such as temporal skip).
Intensify (Reverse): For every +5 modifier applied to the DC, this effect lasts an additional round.

 


WORD OF TONGUES

Normal: You grant a creature the ability to speak and understand all spoken languages. This effect does not extend to languages that are solely telepathic, written, or communicated some means other than vocally (such as sign languages).
Intensify (Normal): For every +4 modifier applied to the DC, the target can "speak" and understand an additional class of language (telepathic, written, or semiotic).
 
Reverse: You cause the creature to suffer the babel status, which renders it unable to communicate in spoken languages. The creature can still communicate telepathically, via written word, or via semiotic languages.
Intensify (Reverse): For every +6 modifier applied to the DC, this effect lasts an additional round.
