Organization: Vesuvanati

"Memores sumus."

An old conspiracy theory, some individuals hold that the Vesuvanati is some sort of world-spanning, all-powerful organization that operates behind the scenes and is secretly manipulating world powers for their own ends. What those goals are varies wildly from individual to individual, and while many are convinced that they have sifted through these opinions and come to "the real truth," even these theories tend to disagree in significant enough fashion to indicate that the truth is unknown.

Most individuals are of the opinion that the Vesuvanati does not exist, and will dismiss individuals who claim it does as crackpots. That said, in some regions knowledge of the Vesuvanati is not uncommon, in the sense that most people are familiar with some of the conspiracy theories and some of the symbolism commonly associated with it.

The most common symbols associated with the Vesuvanati are a torch with a black flame, and a complex geometric pattern that resembles an inverted triangle with multiple overlapping inverted triangles.
