- "I have watched the passage of countless ages."
The first Wanderer in Trinity, Lexicon Maltheridas dates back to the time of the Kiltians, Jovians, and Arkeyans.
History
Lexicon is the brother of Azalor Maltheridas, the Omega.
The death of the gods of Trinity - known as the Fracture - is attributed to Lexicon, who ascended to the Bridges and slew the deities. No record has ever been made of the reasons for why he did so, though since then there have been many philosophical arguments made for and against that action. Modern theory holds that he did so because a given god was both a representative of a given Force, but also tied intrinsically to the Divine, and thus made their allegiances and motives questionable.
Lexicon has rarely made appearances in the world since the Fracture. He has specifically appeared to the few Wanderers that have ascended in Trinity since he did so, and has offered some amount of guidance from an unknown location, but if he has taken action personally in Trinity since his initial actions as a Wanderer, it has gone unnoticed.
It is unknown how Lexicon became a Wanderer, as all other accounts of Wanderers acquiring that status in Trinity required the assistance - or weapon - of another Wanderer. Some believe that it is possible that a Wanderer had visited Trinity long ago and left behind their weapon, while others believe that Lexicon had somehow managed to tap into secret knowledge that has since been lost to the ages. Regardless, whatever method he used now seems inaccessible, as no modern Wanderer that is from or has visited Trinity is aware of any way in which an individual might bootstrap themselves into becoming a Wanderer.
Qualities
Lexicon's wandering symbol is a sword of an unusual design, which presumably dates to his time as a mortal and whose design has been lost to the passage of time, made of orichalcum.
Some accounts of Lexicon refer to him as a female, though they are in a relative minority of cases - though given the few accounts of Lexicon's life that have survived to the modern age, that any refer to him as female is surprising. Given his relatively short stature and the time during which he lived as a mortal, some individuals have proposed that he may be a vesuvan, or - even more outlandishly - a doppelganger, capable of even more extreme modifications of his - or her - form. Regardless, most modern accounts of his appearance indicate that he has appeared to be consistently male.
It is unknown where Lexicon resides; it is believed that he has crafted a demiplane, attached to the prime material, and dwells there.
Most Wanderers on Trinity claim that they can communicate directly with Lexicon through telepathy, and that he can initiate telepathic contact with any Wanderer in Trinity; this seems similar to how some Wanderers are able to communicate with the Sleeping One.
