A rather eccentric human Jovian from the Third Epoch, Lothlonde was the founder of the Great Crossroads, a small settlement constructed on what he thought was a focal point for an unusual power source.

Shortly after the location's initial construction, Lothlonde was contacted by the thran, and found his crossroads a literal crossroads - but in time, rather than space.

It is believed by some that the Great Crossroads eventually became the island that Dominic would choose as the spatial site for the End of Time.
