Jagd Odnis, the Wastes

Jagd Odnis is a wasteland and a jagd, known for bizarre physics and its strange landscape seemingly made of some sort of crystal of myriad colors that forms into geometric patterns. It was created in 466 CR by the Omega, and is the site at which he transcended from the prime material to... elsewhere. It is also the location in which Tetra met his end.

The entirety of this region is surrounded by rough, nigh-impassible mountains, formed when the Omega forcibly terraformed the face of the planet to bring his Towers together in one location.

Description

In modern times, it is known as the only place in the worlds of Trinity in which none of the Forces function. This quality presumably is not an original quality of this region - given that the Faithful Faithless and the entities they fought here were capable of wielding the Forces - but it is surmised that it is a function of the Omega's death.

No plants grow here, and animals brought here perish over time. What few forays have been made into the region - which spans no more than a few dozen square miles - indicate that while the area seems relatively safe for humanoid inhabitation, every individual who has entered the area has felt a foreboding sense of dread about it, while many animals refused to enter the area, with extreme prejudice.

It is known that, somewhere within this barren wasteland, lie the remains of the three Towers built by the Omega in ancient times, as well as the remains of various powerful entities summoned there when Omega opened the rift to elsewhere and the shattered pieces of the artifacts the Faithful Faithless used to replicate the ritual to enter the rift between worlds.

Given the complete lack of presence of the Forces in this area, it is unknown what happens to creatures that die: outside of the reach of the Divine, Nature, or the Void, there is nothing to pull or direct souls to any particular place. Given the relative youth of this location, this topic has seen little study and few theories exist, though the prevailing theory is that the souls of those who died there - specifically, the nine entities Omega summoned there - may be trapped, forced to wander this desolate landscape in an existence that is not quite life, but not quite death. None of the few ventures into this area have seen any evidence to support this theory, however.
