Your glows glow with an eerie red light, as you perceive the ethereal magical threads that surround and suffuse an item, giving you insight into its powers and functions. |
The spell determines all magic properties of a single magic item, including how to activate those functions (if appropriate), and how many charges are left (if any). |
This spell has no effect on a Force item that is not Magical in nature, nor does it have any effect on any artifact, regardless of Force alignment. |
