Defiance Maneuver Descriptions

The following are the defiance maneuvers in alphabetical order.

Basic Stance

This is the basic stance of the defiance school.

DEFIANCE
Classes: Brk
School: Defiance [Stance]
Action: Free
Range: Personal
Target: You
They want a fight? You'll give 'em a fight, and they won't live to regret that mistake.
While you are in this stance, your rage gains the wrath descriptor.
When you enter this stance, your maximum and current hit points increase by 10, plus an additional 4 points per character level after 1st. When this stance ends, reduce your maximum and current hit points by that same amount.
You suffer a -2 power penalty to all damage potency with physical attacks; this effect cannot reduce your damage below 1 potency.
You gain a power bonus to all physical attacks equal to your rage.
When you attack a creature, on its next turn it suffers a power penalty to all attack rolls equal to your rage against any creature other than you.
When you deal damage to a creature, it gains malice against you until the end of its next turn. (A creature with malice must resolve all attacks against the object of this status; if the creature makes an area attack, the object of this status must be included in the area. This status immediately ends if the object of this status gains unconscious or dead.)
When you use provoke, you gain one rage.
Gaining the dying or dead status ailments does not end this stance.
When this stance ends, you immediately become tired. (A tired berserker loses all their rage and cannot gain rage until he takes a short rest.)
