You enter another time frame, speeding up so greatly that all other creatures seem frozen, though they are actually still moving at normal speed. You are free to act for 1 round of apparent time. You can manifest powers, cast spells, move, or perform other types of actions, subject to the restrictions outlined below.
While your temporal acceleration is in effect, other creatures are invulnerable to your attacks and gifts. This means you cannot target a creature with any attack or gift. However, a gift you use that affects an area and has a duration longer than the remaining duration of your temporal acceleration has its normal effect on creatures in the area once this gift ends.
You can affect an unattended object but not an object held, carried, or worn by another creature. You are undetectable by any means while your temporal acceleration lasts.
While under the effect of this gift, you cannot enter a synchronized area or an area protected from high-level Nature or Force effects. Normal and magical fire, cold, acid, and the like can still harm you.
When your temporal acceleration expires, you resume acting during your current turn in the standard time frame. You are shaken for 1 round upon your return to the standard time frame.

 

TEMPORAL DODGE

You cause yourself to slip out of the timestream for an instant, allowing you to pass danger by.
When you use this gift, you immediately cease to exist for the duration of a single action. Any effect that you would have been affected by - be it a Force effect, an attack, environmental danger, or similar - no longer affects you, or even has a chance to. A full attack action consists of multiple attack actions, and thus you only avoid the first attack if you use this gift to avoid such an action.
After the action or event you were dodging is resolved, you immediately pop back into existence.

For every two additional stress you induce when using this gift, the water contained within heals for an additional 1d6, and the max bonus increases by +5, to a maximum of +25.

 

TRINE

The lightning bolt sets fire to combustibles and damages objects in its path. It can melt metals with a low melting point, such as lead, gold, copper, silver, or bronze. If the damage caused to an interposing barrier shatters or breaks through it, the bolt may continue beyond the barrier if the spell’s range permits; otherwise, it stops at the barrier just as any other spell effect does.

If the target fails its initial Fortitude save, it must also immediately make a secondary Will save. If this also fails, the target cannot use any extraordinary, supernatural, or spell-like abilities for the duration of the spell, and gains the Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores of a frog.
