People: Gilgamesh
- "For Gilgamesh... it is morphing time!"
An eccentric warrior who dresses in outlandish red armor in a Western (or so it would be identified on Trinity) armor, often carrying a wide assortment of weaponry but with a preference for swords. He is known for his unusual behavior, seeming obsession with collecting new weapons, and a noted ability to seemingly disappear without a trace on a whim.
Gilgamesh's precise nature is unknown - he is not a Wanderer, but seems able to transit between prime material planes as though he were one. Gilgamesh's unusual ability is typically the foundation for theories that entities from other worlds may not be beholden to precisely the same physics as Trinity, though just how extensive these differences are is vastly unclear.
History
Gilgamesh's history is largely unknown. However, since his initial visit to Trinity, his memories are technically accessible to those able to access such things, though they are buried deep within the Blue and difficult to access given his alien nature.
It is believed that Gilgamesh engaged in battle with a powerful entity of some nature on his home plane, which resulted in him becoming "unstuck": he now transits between the prime materials, though if he is able to control this ability is unknown.
To date, Gilgamesh has only one known appearance in Trinity: when Konoe Ishikaru finished forging the Masamune, Gilgamesh is believed to have appeared shortly thereafter and challenge the clavat to combat for the weapon. Given that Konoe later used this weapon in the War of the Empty Moon, it is believed that Gilgamesh failed in attaining the weapon...
Gilgamesh is also apparently known to Lilith, though - as with many of her relationships with those not native to Trinity - the nature of this relationship is unknown.
Qualities
In his normal form, Gilgamesh appears as an impressively tall human, garbed entirely in outlandish red armor, with a wide assortment of weapons. He is noted as a skilled swordsman.
From other accounts, however, it is believed that Gilgamesh has the ability to alter his form: some accounts hold that he has as many as eight arms, and is capable of wielding a weapon in each to deadly efficiency.
