Talk:Voidchild
The concept behind this class is mildly original; mechanics and such are an amalgamation of a few different classes, each of which - in my mind - were a part of the totality of the concept of the voidchild. In particular, the entropomancer is the primary source for the abilities of the voidchild.
Void, as a force, has a rather difficult niche to fill, considering that it lies in the same Trinity as Divine and Nature. In addition, it is rather difficult to ensure that this class is different from the wizard and other similar classes in more ways than simply flavor - though expressing the abilities of something that doesn't really exist is rather difficult. Given these facts, the voidchild class - as it is presented here - is not intended to be a final draft, but a work-in-progress.
So Void will be point-based, because that's more funner.
Because we've made psionics into an encounter-style system (PP/encounter and PP/day), Void will do the same: VP/encounter and VP/day.

The VP cost of any nihil is equal to its nihil level.
Encounter VP refresh after five minutes.
You cannot use a nihil whose VP cost is higher than the amount of VP you have remaining in your daily VP.
Use this table for determining bonus VP. You add the listed amount to your encounter VP only. When you gain a level, use the base VP on the table above, then find the appropriate value on the below table and add that to the base VP for your current level.

With much internal focus, or perhaps with assistance from a powerful manifestation of the void, you have become a pure manifestation of the void itself. While you retain your consciousness and physical form, you are no longer remotely human.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the voidchild.
Nihimental (Vo): You are no longer a humanoid; instead, you are a unique nihimental, an elemental composed of the void. You gain all the benefits of the elemental creature type.
Soulless (Vo): Any effects that would manipulate or control your soul (such as trap the soul) and death effects have no effect upon you. However, you cannot be raised or resurrected by any means.
Attachment (Vo): You are emotionally and ethereally attached to a manifestation of the void. This creature advances in HD with your nihilist level. If either you or the attachment dies, both of you die. You have no special control over the attachment, but it regards you as friendly.
Weakness (Vo): Though you are highly resistant to divine and natural effects, when they do break your defenses, you are greatly harmed by them. You gain vulnerable holy (10 + nihilist level) and vulnerable shadow (10 + nihilist level).
Nihilism (Vo): At 10th level, you lose your creature type. You still behave as an elemental, but are no longer considered an elemental. Any effect that can only target a specific creature type has no effect against you. If there is an effect with varying effectiveness against different creature types, you are considered to be the most difficult creature type for the effect. Creatures never receive a Favored Enemy (or similar) bonus against you.
You lose your alignment. Any effect that can only affect a specific alignment has no effect on you. If there is an effect with varying effectiveness against different alignments, you are considered to be the least-affected alignment for the effect.
Nihils (Ni): At each level save 10th, your ability with nihils increases as though you had gained a level in whatever nihilist class you were in prior to taking this prestige class.
Each level in this prestige class increases your nihilist level.
