Logos

The following are the logos abilities for the Charm domain.

 

KISS AND TELL
You gain innate immunity (charm), innate immunity (compulsion), and innate immunity (dominate).
Whenever you would be subject to a charm, compulsion, or dominate effect, you can choose to act as though you were affected by the effect, rather than as immune. Unless or until you act in a contradictory manner to the effect in question, you appear as though to have been successfully affected, and gain the relevant status ailment (though it has no effect on you).

 

Charm Prayer Descriptions

The following are the courage prayers in alphabetical order.

 

CHARM MONSTER
Classes: Inc, Pal, Pri
Domains: Charm Phrase (Charm)
Target: One creature
You utter a powerful phrase of friendship that transcends the need for intelligence.
This prayer functions as per charm person, but can target any creature.

 

CHARM PERSON
Classes: Inc, Pal, Pri
Domains: Charm Syllable (Charm)
Utterance Time: Standard action
Range: Medium (100 feet)
Target: One spoken creature
Duration: Brief Exploration (5 hands)
Defense: Will
Divine Inhibition: Yes
You speak a word of friendship, and the target becomes your friend.
Make a divine attack against the target's Will. If you hit, the target regards you as its trusted friend and ally. If the target is currently being threatened or attacked by you or your allies, you suffer a -5 penalty to the attack roll.
This prayer does not allow you to control the charmed person as if it were an automaton, but it perceives your words and actions in the most favorable way. You can try to give the subject orders, but must win an opposed Charisma check to convince it to do anything it wouldn't ordinarily do. An affected creature never obeys suicidal or obviously harmful orders, but it might be convinced that something very dangerous is worth doing.
Any act by you or your apparent allies that threatens the charmed person immediately breaks this effect.
This effect does not improve your ability to communicate with the target in any way.
This effect is considered a status ailment.

 

GOOD HOPE
Classes: Inc, Pal, Pri
Domains: Charm Word
Utterance Time: Standard action
Range: Medium (100 feet)
Target: Up to five creatures
Duration: Brief Exploration (5 hands)
Defense: Will (Harmless)
Divine Inhibition: Yes
You imbue your word with Divine power, and it lifts the spirits of those who hear it.
The targets gain a +2 power bonus on all d20 rolls and a +1 power bonus to all damage potency for the duration of this prayer.
This effect is considered a status effect, and is countered by crushing despair.

 

SUGGESTION
Classes: Inc, Pal, Pri
Domains: Charm Word (Compulsion)
Utterance Time: Standard action
Range: Medium (100 feet)
Target: One creature
Duration: Brief Exploration (5 hands) or until completed (see text)
Defense: Determination
Divine Inhibition: Yes
You imbue a command with Divine power, and the target is compelled to follow.
Make a divine attack against the target. If you hit, you can influence the actions of the target by suggesting a course of activity (limited to a sentence or two). The suggestion must be worded in such a manner as to make the activity sound reasonable. Asking the creature to do some obviously harmful act automatically negates the effect of the prayer.
The suggested course of activity can continue for the entire duration. If the suggested activity can be completed in a shorter time, the prayer ends when the subject finishes what it was asked to do. You can instead specifiy conditions that will trigger a special activity during the duration; if the condition is not met before the prayer's duration expires, the activity is not performed.
