A list of clairsentience powers for the psionicist class. The list got too long, so it's split into a number of pages now.
The power index includes a full index of all powers in all disciplines, as well as an explanation of some of the terms used in these descriptions.
Clairsentience Power Descriptions
The following are the clairsentience powers in alphabetical order.
Base Power
This is the base power of the clairsentience discipline.
PRECOGNITION
Classes: Psi
Discipline: Clairsentience
Activation Time: Standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: Concentration (swift)
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Psionic Resistance: Yes
Your awareness shifts to include a few moments into the future.
You can manifest powers with the [Precognition] descriptor without disrupting your concentration on this power, even if you fail the Manifestation check. Powers with the [Precognition] descriptor with a duration of "Concentration" are maintained when you concentrate on maintaining this power.
DEVOTION
You gain one use of precognitive edge.
At any time while this power is active, you may choose to expend one use of precognitive edge to gain a +2 insight bonus on any roll you make. You can elect to apply the bonus to the roll after you determine that your unmodified roll is lower than desired, but not after the effects of the roll have been determined.
When you have no remaining uses of precognitive edge, this power's duration ends immediately.
Augmentation (2 PP): Gain another use of precognitive edge.
SCIENCE
When you manifest this power as a science, it functions as though it were a devotion, but expending a use of precognitive edge grants you a +4 insight bonus on a roll; and you may roll twice, taking the more preferable of the two results.
You gain an additional use of precognitive edge.
ART
When you manifest this power as an art, it functions as though it were a science, but expending a use of precognitive edge grants you a +6 insight bonus on a roll.
When you fail a roll (such as a saving throw, attack roll, skill check, or manifester level check), you can choose to expend a use of precognitive edge after learning of your failure to reroll your result. You do not get a bonus on this reroll.
You gain an additional use of precognitive edge.

OBJECT READING
Classes: Psi
Discipline: Clairsentience
Activation Time: Standard action
Range: Touch
Target: One object
Duration: Concentration (swift)
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless, object)
Psionic Resistance: Yes
You touch an object, attempting to read its past.
When you are using precognition, you may activate this power. If you do, you can read objects, allowing you to learn facts about them and their previous owners.
DEVOTION
You glean information about the object that may otherwise not be apparent. Each round this maintain this power, you learn one additional fact. After the 11th round, you continue to learn about significant events the item has been present for, in decreasing amounts of significance.
Object Reading, Devotion: Facts Learned
1st |
Age of object.
2nd |
Name of last creature to touch the object, if any (other than you).
3rd |
Race of last creature to touch the object, if any (other than you).
4th |
Name of the object’s creator (a natural object, like a rock, was created by Nature).
5th |
Race of the object’s creator, if any.
6th |
Object’s intended purpose.
7th |
Material(s) that makes up the object.
8th |
Location of the object’s creation.
9th |
Name of the most recent owner of the object, if any.
10th |
Force ability of the object, if any (random if more than one).
11th |
Most significant event the item has been present for of which you are unaware.
If you concentrate on an item for at least 10 rounds, you identify all of its properties, as though identify.
Augmentation (2 PP): When you first manifest this power, automatically learn the next fact, in order, you do not know.
SCIENCE
When you manifest this power as a science, instead of gleaning information about the object, you can glean more significant information about its past owners, who may have left psychic impressions on the object.
Each round you concentrate on this power, you learn another fact.
Object Reading, Science: Facts Learned
1st |
Last owner’s race.
2nd |
Last owner’s gender.
3rd |
Last owner’s age.
4th |
Last owner’s ethos.
5th |
Last owner's force alignment.
6th |
Last owner's name.
7th |
How last owner gained and lost the object.
8th |
Next-to-last owner’s race, and so on.
The power always correctly identifies the last owner of the item, and the original owner (if you keep the power active long enough).
There is a 90% chance that this power will successfully identify all other former owners in sequence, but there is a 10% chance that one former owner will be skipped and thus not identified. If a given owner was Magic- or Technology-aligned, there is a percent chance equal to their caster or student level that that owner will be skipped and thus not identified. This power can never identify an owner if the owner was a Wanderer.
This power will not identify casual users as owners. (Anyone who uses an object to attack someone or something is not thereafter considered a casual user.)
An object without any previous owners reveals no information. You can continue to run through a list of previous owners and learn details about them as long as the power’s duration lasts. If you use this power additional times on the same object, the information yielded is the same as if you were using the power on the object for the first time.
Augmentation (2 PP): When you first manifest this power, automatically learn the next fact, in order, you do not know.
ART
Your ability to read objects has reached an unparalleled level of mastery. Instead of progressing through a list of questions that the item automatically answers, you can instead "ask" the object a question each round, to which the object "answers" truthfully to the best of its ability. You can ask it for any of the information you could glean through using this power as a devotion or science, or other questions that are not covered here (such as, "have you been touched by a Burmecian in the past week?").
Augmentation (3 PP): When you first manifest this power, you can ask a question, and receive an answer, immediately after manifesting this power.

REMOTE VIEWING
Classes: Psi
Discipline: Clairsentience (Scrying) [Precognition]
Activation Time: Standard action
Range: See text
Effect: Psionic sensor
Duration: Concentration (swift)
Saving Throw: None
Psionic Resistance: Yes
You reach out with your mind, and extend your senses to another location.
When you are using precognition, you may activate this power. If you do, you can extend your awareness to other locations, allowing you to hear and see as though you were somewhere else.
DEVOTION
You can see and hear a distant location almost as if you were there. You don’t need line of sight or line of effect, but the locale must be known: a place familiar to you or an obvious one, such as behind a door, around a corner, or in a grove of trees. Once you have selected the locale, the focus of your clairvoyant sense doesn’t move, but you can rotate it in all directions to view the area as desired.
If the chosen locale is supernaturally dark, you see nothing. If it is naturally pitch black, you can see in a 10-foot radius around the center of the power’s effect or out to the extent of your natural darkvision. The power does not work across planes.
SCIENCE
You send your mind across space and dimensions, forming it into a quasi-real viewpoint from which you can see and hear some creature located at any distance from you, even if planar boundaries separate you. If the subject succeeds on a Will save, the remote viewing attempt fails, and you can’t attempt to view that creature again for at least 24 hours. The difficulty of the save depends on how well you know the subject and what sort of physical connection (if any) you have to that creature. Furthermore, if the subject is on another plane, it gets a +5 bonus on its Will save.

If the subject fails its Will save, your mind coalesces a quasi-real viewpoint near enough to the subject to see and hear the subject and its immediate surroundings (up 30 feet in all directions away from the subject).
While the remote viewing lasts, your real body remains unmoving and unaware of your actual surroundings. On the other hand, your quasi-real viewpoint is treated in some ways as if it were an invisible ectoplasmic form of yourself, except as follows. This power is of the Scrying subdiscipline, but use the following information in place of the standard scrying sensor. As a quasi-real viewpoint, you can speak (though your voice is whispery).
You may potentially be sensed by the subject of your viewing (subjects who can see or sense invisible or hidden creatures automatically sense you; otherwise you make a Hide check with a +40 bonus to escape detection if immobile, or a +20 bonus if moving). You could be attacked (although if you become subject to a dispel effect, the remote viewing simply ends). If the subject moves, you can attempt to follow it at a speed of 20 feet, though if it gets farther than 30 feet from you (or you move farther than 30 feet from it), the power ends.
Augmentation (2 PP): Increase the sensor's move speed by 10 feet.
ART
When you manifest this power as an art, it functions as though it were a science, but you can choose a location or object, rather than a creature.
If you choose a location, if the sensor moves more than 30 feet away from the edge of the location, this power ends.
