So looks like we need to revisit races, too. Oh, joy!

Basics

Races are one aspect of defining who your character is, initially. The other major facet is culture - when taken together, these create a framework in which your Lifepath exists, or can be used simply as a baseline definition for who your character is.

Races impact your appearance, age, certain Traits, and can grant a small number of Talents and Specials. These are innate to the race - even if raised among wolves, a character of a given race will always have access to their racial abilities.

In general, racial abilities are more breadth than depth, while cultural ones are more depth than breadth.

Racial Descriptions

What follows are racial descriptions.

HUME
Of all the races, humes are the most versatile, the most adaptable. They come from all walks of life, and hold within them a spark of ingenuity and creativity generally unseen amongst other races. As a whole, they are able to answer any calling and excel in it beyond what others would expect of them. They capacity - and thirst - for success knows no bounds.
